WHT  SHUD B DONE ON SIGHTING DA MOON OF THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN-AL-KAREEM

Þ               Recite The dua of The Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w.w) on sighting moon.

Refer Mafatih-al-Jinan.

Þ               When the crescent is sighted, turn towards Qiblah, raising hands towards the sky, address it as under: -

RABBEE WA RABBUKALLAAHU RABBUL A'ALAMEEN ALLAAHUMMA AHILLAHOO A'LAYNAA BIL-AMNI WAL EEMAANI WAS SALAAMATI WAL ISLAAMI WAL MUSAARA-A'TI ILAA MAA TUH'IBBU WAL TARZ'AA ALLAAHUMMA BAARIK LANAA FEE SHARINAA HAAD'AA WAR-ZUQNAA KHAYRAHOO WA A'WNAHOO WAS'RIF A'NNAA Z'URRAHOO WA SHARRAHOO WA BALAAA-AHOO WA FITNATAHOO

My Lord and your Lord is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. O Allah for us let this month be a period of peace, faith safety and total submission to Thy will; make us walk apace swiftly to that which Thou likes and approves. O Allah pour out much blessings on us in this month, make available for us its generous good and assistance, and keep us safe from the harm, evil, misfortune and mischief that may try to trap us in this month.

Þ               Recite Dua-e-Hajj after Salat-al-Maghrib.

Þ               Read Mola Sajjad(a.s) Supplication’s no. 43 given in Sahifa-e-Kamilah

Þ               Ayyuhal khalaqul muteeyud-dayeebu….

Þ               Read Mola Sajjad(a.s) Supplication’s Supplication. 40 given in Sahifa-e-Kamilah.

Þ               Do ghusl preferably before sunset so dat u can say salat-e-Maghrib after dat inshAllah as according to a tradition whomsoever takes ablution in this nite he/she’s saved from skin realted dermatological diseases.

Þ               Do Ziarat of The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain(a.s) so that his sins shed away and gets the thawab of all the men who will go 4 hajj and umrah in that particular year.(May Allah(S.w.t) bless us all with such many oppurtunites in r lifetime…ameen).

Þ                

Þ               Start The 1000 Rakat Of  Mustahab Salat which have 2 b offered in da whole month in the manner described in the Mustahab Ramadan-al-Mubarak salats section.

Þ               2 Rakat salat in such a manner dat in every rak’at after Surah-al-Hamd recite Surah-e-In’aam. Allah(s.w.t) will be his Protector in all sort of grief, fear and imminent (incoming) dangers.

Þ               The recitation of Dua-e-Joshan-e-Kabeer is highly recommended.

Þ               Go to Your wife on the nite the moon is sighted ie. The 1^st  Ramadan’s night on the contrary it’s makrooh on the 1^st nights of other months.

Þ               Recite  Dua-e-Iftitah. Here’s an excerpt:

In His Name, the Most High

All praise belongs to Allah who;

Protects the Fearful;

Helps the Steadfast;

Raises the level of the Oppressed;

Destroys the Arrogant

Destroys the false "kings", and replaces them with Just Leaders.

All praise belongs to Allah;

Destroyer of the Oppressors;

Finisher of the Tyrants;

Watcher of the Captives;

Helper of those who Cry for Help;

The One who meets the needs of those who Cry for Assistance;

Supporter of the Faithful.
